Amanda Tapping with a dark brown hairstyle for ‘Sanctuary’

Amanda Tapping — the actress who played Col Samantha Carter on both Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis, who now stars as Dr Helen Magnus in Sanctuary – is seen here arriving at the Entertainment Weekly Magazine/The Sci Fi Channel party. The gala was held to celebrate The San Diego Comic Con in California on July 26, 2008.

Also in attendance at Comic Con were several of Amanda Tapping’s Stargate costars, including Richard Dean Anderson (Jack O’Neill), Chris Judge (Teal’c), Michael Shanks (Daniel Jackson), Lexa Doig (Dr Carolyn Lam, as well as the real-life Mrs Michael Shanks), Ben Browder (Cameron Mitchell) and Beau Bridges (Hank Landry).

Blonde-haired actress Amanda Tapping — who played the character of Col Samantha Carter on both Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis — attended the Sci-Fi Channel 2008 Upfront Party at The Morgan Library and Museum in New York City on March 18, 2008. The Sci-Fi channel was celebrating the upcoming TV season with the casts of their most popular and most anticipated shows.

Amanda Tapping will next be seen starring as Dr Helen Magnus in the sci-fi television series Sanctuary.
