It’s very easy and I find the curls last longer when just allowed to set on damp hair overnight. If your in a rush using perm rods, or rollers of any type on damp hair, then alternate blow drying the hair and letting it cool can also give you a quicker curl and they still (at least in my difficult thick hair case) last much longer than hot rollers or a curling iron!
