Why we HATE this celebrity hairstyle: I won’t lie, it looks like she let her kids do her hair. We can only thank the network gods that hire her a stylist for her show. I understand her dress looked like a foil tarp wrapped on her but to make the hairstyle just as trashy? She should have opted for a more clean style. While some people can pull similar looks off, Patricia Arquette just cannot, at least successfully! A more clean hairstyle even with strands loose would have looked better than this limp looking mop she is wearing!

Products and tools to help create this celebrity hairstyle: I was able to create this hairstyle within 20 minutes! I used the following – ouch-less hair band – Bobby pins (coated and as close to your hair color as possible) a frizz shield finishing spray, and a All day hold and volume spray. I used these products lightly as you do want a optimum hold, but you do not want the weighed down look. This is why I recommend FIRST using the finishing spray (I use Tresemme’s finishing frizz shield/spray) and then lightly spritzing with the All day hold/your preferred hold hair spray.

Whether they stuck their finger in a light socket, their stylist won the lotto and decided to go out with a bang, or maybe they just plain don’t know how to do their own hair! Whatever the excuse is, here are the Top 10 Celebrity Bad Hair Days of 2009!

Not a fan at all! First off Eva Mendes’s hair appears to be greasy, dirty and unbrushed and it really takes away from her overall chic look. If cleaned up a little this would make a very sleek, chic and beautiful hairstyle perfect for many events. Even if an oily scalp/dirty hair is a problem there are always ways around this with simple touches no one would know and you wouldn’t look like you haven’t showered in a week.!
