The 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards

The Primetime Emmy Awards held in 2008 were held on September 21st and held at the brand new Nokia Theatre in  Los Angeles, California. They were hosted by Ryan Seacrest, Tom Bergeron, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel,and Jeff Probst. All 5 hosts were nominated for Outstanding Host for a Reality Show or Reality Competition. For the first time in the Primetime Emmy Awards history the academy released ten finalists for Outstanding Comedy and Drama Series categories. Presenting awards through the night were  America Ferrera, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Vanessa Williams and Hayden Panettiere. A few of the winners through the night are Jeremy Piven, Laura Linney, John Stewart, Dame Eileen Atkins, and Glenn Close.
