In 2008 courtesy of Amy Winehouse we saw allot of different versions and heights of the classic Beehive hairstyle! Above is sexy Beyonce with her high and very neat version of the “do” while at the 2008 Kennedy Center Honors in Washington DC.
Amy Winehouse in 2007 started this phase of extremely high updo’s. Of course this is a photo of her much much healthier days.
We also saw celebrities sport the beehive-esque hairstyles such as Mariska Hargitay, Aubrey O’Day and Mena Suvari to name just a few!
In general I would say this hairstyle is #10 on my list because of creativity and the versatility that goes with it!

Mena Suvari graced us with her version of the ever changing beehive updo hairstyle at the Martini & Rossi and Mena Suvari Toast Andy Warhol on the Anniversay of his 80th Birthday, in NYC.
Regardless of the occasion these hairstyles have height and style all rolled into one with a Beehive hairstyle flair that many celebrities , hairstylists and people are attempting to mimic everywhere. Weddings, out on the town or even the Emmy awards this hairstyle can be made to really rock!
